Rocky’s first time swimming out in open water was around ten weeks of age. He loves time spent out riding on the boat, whether he’s just basking in the sun, trying to grab the waves in his mouth, or jumping out of the boat over and over and over to retrieve a bumper. He never tires of swimming

Rocky learned quickly that the way in and out of our boat is through a “dog board” that Curt crafted on the back of the boat. We have one on each of our boats so that the dogs know their official way in and out of the boat is on that board. That was the first place Rocky learned to use to jump in the lake after bumpers.
By around three months of age, he would jump from the boat over and over to retrieve bumpers. He can’t get enough of it.
