Rocky’s journey from Texas to Minnesota started when Suzanne saw a notice about the litter. He was born 5/13/21 from GCH Chessieville Bay Maximum Caliber CGCA RI TKI x GCH Next Generations Chiseled in Stone, and was Bred by Joan Morris. We knew the Next Generations name from living in Minnesota, and we quickly realized how amazing the Chessieville Bay Chesapeakes are.
We flew from Minnesota to Texas to bring Rocky home, and it was absolutely love at first sight.
The second that Jessica Morris handed Rocky to Suzanne, he knew he had found his forever family. He started tearing away the mask from Suzanne’s face so that he could kiss her all over. He was a lover from day one.
He was so cute that the flight attendant told us we could hold him during the flight rather than have him in his bag under the seat. That turned out to not be the best idea on either our part or hers, but Rocky made it safely home to Minnesota and his whole family quickly fell in love with him.
